This past Thursday at our general meeting we have the privilege to meet Thiel & Team, where designers Paige Byrd, Staci Lockhart, and Cigdem Eksi, shared an overview about multi-family design and their design process as well as studio culture.
Their workflow covers all phases-from remodels and new construction through programming, design development, documentation, and construction administration- emphasizing clear communication through RFI’s and submittals. A key differentiator is installation. The firm's installations are highly hands-on, with designers closely involved in staging and refining every detail.
Thiel & Team is known for crafting boutique-style, high impact amenity spaces that enhance the resident experience and attract new tenants. Current trends include pet amenities, bike storage, wellness spaces, and pickleball courts. Typical project timelines range from two weeks for schematic design to four weeks for design development.
